Please note: the link below will take you to the science project agenda guideline. Following this guideline will help students be successful in completing their experiments on time. Most of the science packet is not stored electronically so we will not be able to post the rest of the packet.
7N and 7S Super Solar System project
Students will be researching an object in our solar system. They will be writing a research report and a speech. Once students have completed this work they will be doing a presentation on Friday, October 29th. Students will be asked to perform in costume. We will be taking our audience on a ride through space. Each class will do a separate presentation because of the number of planetary objects in our solar system. Each group will perform two presentations: one at 9:30am and one at 10:30am. These will occur on the stages of both 7N and 7S respectively. Parents, friends and relatives are invited to attend. We ask that the students dress according to the god/goddess after which their space object is named. If you have any further questions please speak with either Ms. Hillary or Ms. Cheryl.

7N homework
Wonderful homework came in today and even last week. The most exciting part was how excited the students were, talking about and sharing their work with me and each other. We have quite a few budding chefs in class! Please remember that this week a different choice from the September Homework list needs to be made. Sometimes a homework choice will be a “stretch work”, one that does not come naturally to the students. Stretching your mind and your abilities is a great thing to do! Please contact me if you have any questions about the homework as we continue on.

7N spelling
Upper Elementary students in 7N are moving through the workbook spelling lists at their own pace. Practice with the words is a daily work and the students let me know when they are ready for a test. A student may move at his or her own pace. When the student completes one word list the next one is written out to come home. That way you always have a copy of your child’s list at home.
